[Hallicrafters] Anybody interested in a trade-Icom 706 for SX-28?

Hello all!  I would like to trade a Icom 706 (has mars mod) with new finals,
separation kit, mobile mounting brackets, operation manual, service manual,
and the original hand mic for a working and restorable SX-28.  While the 706
does a fine job it does have a few minor flaws.  It has some scratches from
being mounted mobile, whoever did the full tx mod (I am not the original
owner) was not entirely careful and now only power out metering is available
(swr and alc no longer indicate), and finally there is only rx on 6 meters (I
was told by the previous owner that to tx on 6 would result in blown
finals-took his word for it and never tried it).  The good news is everything
else works FB and the rig puts out full power plus on all of the remaining
bands.  So if you have an SX-28 in excess of your needs and you are looking
for a nice backup/portable/mobile rig send me an email and I will send some
