<<Does anyone have an HT-32 or HT-37 parts transmitter? I am looking for a
reasonably priced, working power transformer from one of the rigs.>>

Check Gary, WZ1M gkbrown at gwi.net

He rewinds transformers at an extremely reasonable price and does an
excellent job at it.

Also if you are having the normal HT-32/37 problem with the 5V filament
winding shorting to the HV winding, there are 2 ways around it. The first is
to cut loose and cover the 5V windings and install a small 5V filament tranny
with the proper insulation. The second is to used solid state rectifiers in
place of the tube. If you go that route, be sure to check the HV for
excessive readings and do the necessary to bring it to specs. With solid
state rectifiers, the HV can run 30V or higher than specs.

73, good luck and keep one hand in your pocket.

John, W4AWM
