[Hallicrafters] Q: Battery Operation of 5R41 "Continental"

I am trying to set up my 5R41 "Continental" for battery DC operation.  The two batteries (long since gone from inside the case), a 90v Eveready 490 and a 7.5v Eveready 717, are discontinued.  For the 490, I can set up two 45v 455s in series in roughly the same space.  For the 717, I'm lost.  The Eveready replacement chart lists "no replacement."  The battery wire to the chassis has what I consider a "weird" terminal connector.

Any words of wisdom from you-all would be appreciated.
