[Hallicrafters] Paint for S-20R

As much as I hate to say this, I think it is time to find an alternative source
for paint. Now I realize that Mike has had some personal personal problems over
the past six months. While I sympathize with his various predicaments, people
need paint. I am constantly hearing about Mike Shelton not returning phone
messages, not answering e-mail and so forth. Three of them just today. You can
not run a business like this.	
	
I know of equipment sitting there at his QTH for a solid year that is still not
repaired. If he can not do it, does not have the time or whatever, then he
should just box it up, send a note of apology and return it to the owner. You
can not jus tleave it sit there month after month and not do anything to it.	
	
I have always supported Mike and absolutely wish him no ill. However, customers
need service, regardless of the vender. Maybe he will get things sorted out and
eventually be able to supply paint in a timely manner. Who can say. For the
present time, I would suggest that those needing paint look for an alternative
supplier. I know that a number of you have done well using local auto paint
stores and getting a custom mix. Perhaps some of you can post alternative
suggestions and/or sources to assist those needing paint for a current project?	
	
I do not know what Mike Shelton's problems are, completely, nor do I need to
know either. I hope that whatever they are, he can get a grip on things, get
them handled and get the paint supply back on track.

I am trying to contact Mike at N.C. Total Electronics to buy some paint for a
S-20R restore.I get no return emails. Does anyone know if he is on vacation or
