[Hallicrafters] Wednesday HCI Global Glow, Maybe?

Providing the propagation permits the skipping of syllables via the ssb skyway,
the Hallicrafters Collectors International will hold the much touted, seldom
replicated, never duplicated, 20 meter Global Glow roundtable on Wednesday May
1st. It will commence with Duane blowing holes in the low lying clouds with his
old sawed off twelve gauge crowd control gun loaded with rock salt scooped up
during the Winter when the salt trucks rumbled by knocking down the mail boxes
while scattering the Sodium Chloride like Johnny Appleseed randomly flinging
apple seeds. Thus seeding the clouds with holes for the waves from those things
that still go glow in the dark to pass through on their way to you, the devoted
Hallicrafters fans around the globe. This begins at 7:00 PM EDT, (2300 UTC) for
the pre-Net. The Global Glow roundtable officially starts at 8:00 PM EDT, (0000
UTC). 	
	
The frequency is 14.315 Mhz usb with back up frequencies of 14.322 and 14.328
Mhz. All +/- for key clicks, mike splatter and the sharp pinging sound of those
high powered electrons being emitted from the Hustler 6BTV bouncing off the
ionosphere like hail stones making your garbage can lid sound like a rock band
drummer with a spasdic hand!        		
	
I hope to hear some of you tomorrow night. After last Wednesday's band deadness,
I fired up the old Heathkit Twoer and tried to work some next street over DX
with that marvelous 10 watt AM wonder. I got South Africa! Ya just never know
