[Hallicrafters] SX-71 has Graduated (to the listening bench)

Al,

When Phil first appeared on the lists some three years ago, he was doing a
R-390A. I know he did do a Hammarlund SP-600 also at some point in time. Not
sure if it was before or after the Collins receiver. This guy changes receivers
like most people change their socks! Sort of like WA9KXQ Sonny, who claims to
have owned one of everything, at least once!

Like you, Al, Phil is a gifted Tech. You have forgotten more than most of us
ever hope to know.

Hi Phil,
For domination & good looks, it's hardly in the "big" boatanchor class.
Whatcha gonna work on next? I've been following your excapdes closely, but
you really oughta try an SX-28, SX-42, or SP-600. Maybe even an R-390(a)?
Congrats on doing a great job, and keeping us posted.
