Al et al...
Well, in the past I have done two (or was it three ?) SP-600's and three
R-390A's so I know what the term boatanchor means.  At the time this table
was built we had just moved into this mobile home and I had an SP-600,
R-390A, Viking Ranger Icom R-71A and some other "stuff" all intended to take
up residence on this table.  (Why it was built strong).  When we moved in
here I "comandeered" the master bedroom as the radio room as it was the only
place large enough, took the sliding doors off the 8 foot wide closet and
put this table in it, leaving the rest of the room for work table, toolbox,
bookshelves etc.
