[Hallicrafters] Yahoo Problems?

the subject sorta came up on another group a wk or so ago. Here's what I
said aabout it:
I kinda saw this coming, or at least something like it, maybe even more
sinister, back when Yahoo took over whover it was that had free reflectors
(maybe 1-2 yrs ago). I refused to sign on to yahoo because all of the
personal info they required, just to subscribe to a reflector.
I'm not sure how I'm getting [radio-swapshop], don't think I ever
succumbed to the sign-on. ( I probably did, & only entered "real" info for
just what was reqd, like email addr. Just put in junk for the rest, incl
dob, zip code, etc)
i hope your campaign works, in more ways than one. There are other
places to host reflectors, free, without all the spam & personal
intrusions.
