I had the HT-44 and SX-117 pair for several years. I purchased them just
after they came out. They worked quite well. I also had the little three
band SR-160
which I used mobile.

The only problems I ever had were some bad disk ceramic caps. I'mn guessing
that they got a bad batch. I had a problem with the coupling cap between
the driver and finals as well as several others in the driver stage. I also
had problems with the caps in one of the stages of the SX-117, but I no
longer remember which stage.
