Mr. WoodyRat:

I'm forwarding this NCCC Posting via my Unix BOUNCE account. I operated a
few hours with the W6YX gang in FD 2005, and was invited to join them
again this year, but elected to operated from the CDF EOC in Morgan
Hill for a few hours as was also QRL with non-radio stuff.

The W6YX operation is a model of Field Day excellence to consider in
planning future GVARC Field Days. Look at all the BONUS POINTS!!! Quite
of few of my NCCC pals really kicked some QSO-butt from W6YX :-)

I'm please to report that during my hour of also operating FD from the
home QTH, that I had a CW QSO with our GVARC buddy Frank, N7FF, who was
QRV in FD with some folks using the call K5ID (Arkansas).

I really want to encourage GVARC members to work on their CW skills and
the upgrading of their Licenses. Once the Sunspot Cycle is on the upswing
again, there will be a tremendous amount of "fun" to be had with even a
100 watt station and a vertical on the HF bands...and lots of DX to be
worked.

And, of course, we are always looking for more "Contest" operators in the
NCCC :-)

Can you please forward ths email to the GVARC list?

Tnx & 73...
