[GVARC] Opportunity to provide a public service - June 25th

Hi all,

On June 25th, the annual "Reek Run" will be held at Bonfante Gardens. We have
been requested again this year to provide hams around the race course to act
as monitors. We would once again work closely with Bonfante Garden Security
and the race officials and help notify them of any medical or safety problems
that may surface. 

Last year a few of you participated. I think it went well and it was both fun
and helpful to make the race more safe and well run.  I know the Theater
Angels Art League, the sponsoring organization, appreciated our involvement. 

It may be difficult to get a crew together this year, however, because this
date also happens to be right in the middle of Field Day.  

If you would like to participate again this year let me know by Wednesday,
May 25th. I want to respond to the request as soon as possible so that, in
the event, we cannot support them this year, they will be able to make other
arrangements.
