Registration for Level I, Emergency Communications Course
Registration for the ARRL Amateur Radio Emergency Communications Level I
on-line course (EC-001) opened Monday, February 7, 2005, and will remain
open until all available seats have been filled or through the February
12-13 weekend. Class begins Friday, February 25. Radio amateurs 55 and up
are strongly encouraged to participate.
Thanks to our grant sponsors--the Corporation for National and Community
Service and the United Technologies Corporation--the $45 registration fee
paid upon enrollment will be reimbursed after successful completion of the
course. This is the final year of grant-subsidized courses! During this
registration period, seats are being offered to ARRL members on a
first-come, first-served basis. To learn more, visit the ARRL Certification

Level II Registration Opens Monday, February 14, at 12:01 AM.
For those of you who have already taken EC-001, the next opportunity to sign
up for Level II of the Amateur Radio Emergency Communications course is
Monday, February 14, at 12:01 AM EST. This registration period will remain
open until all available seats have been filled or through the February
19-20 weekend --whichever comes first. Class begins Friday, March 4.
