[GVARC] 4th of July Parade

Its that time of the year again. I am looking for help with the 4th of July 
Parade.

Duties:

1. Help with the pre parade line up and get all the lost souls found in the 
assembly area.

2. Move to your parade position and help with the operational aspect of the 
parade. That would be breakdowns, lagging units, entries passing out candy 
etc. This is always a challenge. Three of you will be coordinating with the 
3 announcing stands.

What you do not have to do:

Crowd control. There are other "Marshals" to take care of the nasty people 
problems. We will of course relay any requests for help etc.

What time and where do we meet?

The parade starts at 11 a.m. and will end about 1pm. I would request that 
you be in Morgan Hill no later than 9 a.m.  We will talk  on W6GGF/R 
(147.825 -.600, no PL 100Hz).

After the parade there is a BBQ party at my house. If its a warm day, don't 
forget your swimming trunks. Your entire family is invited also. We have 
spectacular seats for the fire works in both Morgan Hill and Gilroy. You 
just have to walk around to the other side of the house.

Please let me know if you can help this year. If for some reason you don't 
let me know, you can come and help anyway. No one will be turned 
away!!  Besides, what a great seat for the parade.
