[GVARC] Slient key: Harry, K6HWR

Hello all,

I thought I would send out a message to both of the GVARC lists to let you know that Harry, K6HWR, passed away peacefully last Friday afternoon. Harry had been hospitalized for a few weeks in a continuing battle over heart desease. 

Many of you will remember Harry as I will - a gentle and kind man with a heart of gold and a man who was a delight to be with. 

Harry was very involved in and supportive of the Gabilan Amateur Radio Club which later became the Garlic Valley Amateur Radio Club. Harry was instrumental in the formation of GVARC and was active in supporting it in many ways. He was selfless in his assistance to fellow hams and the community. He was one of several stong leaders in the club who became chairman of Garlic Festival Communications. 

Harry will be greatly missed.
