I would be willing to drive to Paso Robles but since I work it would =
have to be on a weekend.

  Subject: [GVARC] Save GVARC a couple hundred and have

  an adventure.

      Last Sat, GVARC voted to buy a portable, lightweight, crankup =
tower. It=20
  should be ready from Force 12 on about 16 April.

      Shipping from F12 to Gilroy costs between $150 to $250. We can =
save=20
  that if someone from the club would go to Paso Robles with a small =
pickup=20
  truck and truck it on back to Gilroy. GVARC would, of course, pay for =
gas.
      I'll bet Tom, N6BT, the founder of Force 12, would give you a tour =
of=20
  the plant and tell you a couple of good stories (the adventure part).

      The tower is a little under 9 feet long and only weighs about 100 =
lbs.=20
  We may also save more by not requiring the shipping crate.

      So, who has a truck and a little time for an adventure? Please =
contact=20
  me if you can help out.

  Thanks, Tony

  P.S. We plan on using the tower with the club beam and rotator at a =
local=20
  function May 1st, Field Day for sure, and, because it's EASY, other =
times=20
  throughout the year.
