Hi folks,

I used to build the classic 2 meter Jpole a-la Foothill. Does anyone have
one that they could extract the following dimensions from:?
And who is the orgnaization that makes them for sale at Foothill?

Center to Center spacing of the main pole, to the 1/4 wave stub?

Distance from the center of the bottom of the 'u' to the crossover point of
the #12 wire that is curled around the main pole

Number of turns of the 12 guage wire around the pole.

BTW, I found that the 12 guage wire, wrapped for 6 or 7 turns around the
main pole and shrink tube wrapped, sucks up water like a dry sponge, and
destroys the SWR. If you coat the coiled portion with silicon seal, so that
water cannot wick into the coil, it fixes the problem.
