Folks,

I see Harbor Freight has lowered their DVM pricing from $9.00 to
$4.00...Bargain at either price. Get one for your car, for your boat, for
your....whatever...

I have used this DVM, and at $4.00 NEW it is the bargain of the decade...
Full featured, with test leads, and with a Rotary function Switch, and has
10 amp scales for high current measurement, and the usual Volts AC, DC, ma,
and ohms functions. Additionally transistor tester including Hfe....Should
be a $100 + dollar meter...Just $4.00!

Also, try pricing some anodized heavy aluminum sheet for your next homebrew
chassis or enclosure project. Then ask your local Public Works department
if they have any discarded street signs. Locally a guy was replacing a stop
sign that was quite faded on its front side. I asked him what he was going
to do with the old one, and he said either throw it away, or toss in the
recycle bin at the city Public works yard...He said I could have it if I
wanted it, and there were more at the Corp Yard.
At 30" x 30" with corners chopped the aluminum stop sign is about 5 sq feet
of sheet anodized aluminum....Great for that next homebrew amp chassis or
cabinet. And at a super price...Check out your local city Public works
department.
