Our computer science department here at the U of Iowa is trying to create wall art celebrating great works in computer science. We've decided to do it with the leading part of each historic paper rendered in the digital recording medium of the time when that
paper was first presented.
One paper we want is Alan Turing's 1936 paper on computable numbers. He was British, so if he were to send this paper to someone in digital form, he'd likely have used a Creed Model 7
page printer, paired with an appropriate tape punch.
What we need is the punched tape. If someone has a punch and the wherewithal to convert ASCII to ITA2, I can send you the text we want.
