Mine is the "split tip" screwdriver.
Never leave out more than 3 screws.
The rear right under the selector was always left out when I was in the service.

My favorite tool... I found a 12" long slotted screwdriver with a 1/4"
round shank at a garage sale for a dollar. Using an eBay magnetic
sliding screw retainer, it easily accesses the four hex slotted screws
that retain the typing unit to the base. You know which screws I'm
talking about, the ones that most people leave half of them out...lol.
