Hello,
I recently registered on the forum and subscribed to receive updates by email. At the moment, I am receiving notifications and comments only through email, so I wanted to ask if this is the normal way the forum works.
Is there also a web interface where I can browse the forum, view all discussion threads, and read messages directly online? Or is participation mainly handled through email subscriptions?
Thank you very much for your help, and I am looking forward to participating in the discussions.
Best regards,
Enrique – EA7LCA

The frame for it has 6 rubber shock mounts to absorb movement. I have
used velcro strips to hold down parts that move around. Ill get a better
outer strap, but the lime green strap is ok for the moment.
I have been printing with it and it has been going great in its new home,
but today it wouldn't start. I reset the breaker on the motor and while
the typing unit was off I could see the motor bounce back and forth, then
slowly start. It occasionally starts in reverse. I will not start at all
with the load of the typing unit on it, the breaker trips after a couple
seconds.
Reading BULLETIN 295B and I suspect the starting capacitor perhaps? I
dont see any obvious damage or burned parts on the existing starting
capacitor.
