I scored one of the ASR33s and the Model 43 that was auctioned about a month ago.  They use a third party shipper that will work with you to get a competitive rate  from the major carriers (although these days, that is relative).  The ASR33 with stand and Model 43 cost a little over $700 to ship via freight to California.

Lots of ham & mil surplus stuff being auctioned. I wanted to know if anyone has winning bids shipped from them & how much more I should estimate for packing & shipping on things. Any advice?
