Hey Wayne, I gave him one he is using from the extras Paul sent.

We got his 33 fully working today, planning to clean mine and oil his more this Saturday, hoping that some oil prevents the erroneous ditributor clutch engagement. I had the same issue and I remember needing to do a slight adjustment but his is in far better shape.

On cleaning my 33, it is fully working but quite grimy. I got a large shallow bin and plan to spot clean and oil but not submerge.

Have you oiled the motor yet and the distributor clutch.  I think thats the one you called motor clutch.

It sounds like the clutch is not latching.  Be sure to oil the felt pad inside the drum and the inside of the drum as well.  You dont have to take anything apart to do this. 
 
All the felts inside the 4 drums need oiling as well.
 
The latching mechanism is down below the drum.  Sometimes it does not move and needs oiling and freeing up.  See pic on a junker all apart.  Its just to show you where the latch pivot is.  Obviously you dont need to take yours apart.
 
Do you have the new vinyl hammers yet?

We've got all the keys working and can type "The quick brown fox..." but the motor clutch seems to squeak and thump and tries to catch and locks up.  This tends to happen the more it is warmed up.  We immediately turn it off so as not to lock up the motor. There is supposed to be an adjustment for that, but we don't know what it is.  Can anyone point us in the right direction?
