If you want to try making your own model 43 ribbon cartridge check out Thingiverse for a 3D printable design and some notes on how to make the ribbon and re-ink roller.  Search for ‘Teletype Model 43 ribbon’.

Why do I ask?  I found a box of Hyetype-II / Diablo / Xerox print
ribbons P/N 420287 / 301980-04 / 8R1650.

On a related topic I have a table that I believe was for the real heavy
Teletyp 40 band printer.
