I am an old-timer (an Elmer?) I have learned a lot of things in my life but I cannot necessarily
tell you where. In the past year I burned out two heathkit HD 3030s before I figured out it
was high line voltage.

I just measured my line voltage with my trusted ME11 digital voltmeter and got 119.6 VAC.
I got 115.2 VAC out of my bucking transformer.

I cannot find a voltage spec in the HD 3030 manual.

We frequently have our power go out. The last time it was out about 30 hours (Good thing
I have a generator for furnace and refrigerator.) I wonder if they have connected us differently.
I know the voltage used to be 124 VAC.
