I am trying to restore a Teletype model 14 - type number FPR17FN226.

Whilst initially looking over the machine I have noticed that the wire bundle to the transmitting contacts filter assembly has been cut close to the assembly. The filter assembly is Teletype part number 92221.

After searching online I have not been able to find any clear photographs of this part of the machine.

Does anyone have a link to an image showing how the filter wires should be routed?
Is there a valid reason why the wires would have been cut?
Is it likely that the cut wires indicate that the filter assembly is damaged?

I see a number of other small suppression capacitors dotted around the fixed wiring

Are these capacitors typically serviceable or should I default to replacing them?
