Hello all,

I think I hit an epiphany on the usefulness of the perf tape earlier today -- I mean, I knew they were really useful...but it was only now that it dawned on me that they were -really- useful.

Therefore -- out of curiosity -- since I have an M26 that never had a reperf to begin with: any ideas on possible alternatives to "record" the keystrokes from my machine without capturing the human delays between keypresses?  Of course I'm aware of things like MMTTY, where I can just transmit text files (and of course would be infinitely more efficient than typesetting on the Teletype itself) but I do want to avail of the "originally intended" way to store typed messages - in this case, an offshoot of it.

Or could this mean that the hunt for a Model 14, 15, 19 , 28, etc., would be the way to go?

Looking forward to your thoughts.
