See if one of the curiousmarc vids talks about it - search for that name and model 19 (same as 15).

Greetings,

I now have the bottom end 90% apart.
The selector is out and apart and I'm cleaning the gunk out of it.
My question is about the main shaft.

I know it has felt clutches but don't know how it operates.
It's time for me to decide whether to clean and lube it in place
or remove and disassemble it.
If anything is frozen too stiff to move then it needs to come apart.
Hard for me to know since I don't know what is supposed to move or how.

I need a good explanation of how the main shaft is supposed to function.
Can anyone point me in the right direction?
Turning it by hand there was a paw that catches and stops it. I was afraid to force it not knowing
what I'm doing.

Any help appreciated,
-Steve
