So, purely curious question.  I keep seeing these Kantronics Mini-readers on ebay from time to time.  If one was to add one

in-between the audio source (my laptop) and my demodulator running my teletype, could they coexist peaceable?  I found the manual online and its got an audio in and out.....

I realize my laptop can do what the mini-reader does easier, I just think it's cool.
