Hi all – I’m new to the list, but not new to Teletype and RTTY.  I’m already enjoying the dialog on the list!

I have the following lot of equipment for sale, which may be of interest to Model 28 fans on this list:

Two Model 28 ASR’s:

1 Model 28 ASR, needs restoration but complete, with “walking” TD, tape bin, tape winder, relay-based control system, plus standard punch and TD – custom configuration.  Bell System green, cabinet needs refinishing.

1 Model 28 ASR, needs restoration, seems complete, has typing reperf in front position and standard TD.  Gray cabinet.

Large collection of Model 28 small parts – screws, springs, gears, lamps, spare printing elements (including a weather typebox), etc. etc.

Original partially-full container of Teletype machine oil, with pouring spout

1 Model 28 tape winder – works, missing the extra bar for raised copy viewing

1 set of Model 28 pedestal extenders

Electronics:

Dovetron MPC1000R, needs service, has most of the optional boards in it.

Dovetron TSC1000, really rare, electronic gearshift. Untested but worked when removed from service, excellent condition.

Supplies:

Paper, oiled tape

Plus a complete set of manuals, including 28 Parts list and exploded diagrams.

Selling this as a single lot.

Pickup only, no shipping.  Location is northern New Jersey (Bergen County).

Cash on pickup – payment in cash only.

Can arrange pickup at a convenient date/time for the buyer.
