100% critical. Remember, under normal operating the entire typing unit is just sitting 4 little rubber cubs and not held in place by anything.
I have seen machines just moved across a room and taking hours to get things back aligned (especially the relationship between the main unit and the keyboard]

Hello GKers,
The time has come when the ASR33 on a pedestal in the former signals museum has
to be moved on.
I recall there was a need to fit transit screws in order not to destroy
the cover.
Please can someone advise me the size of these screws and where they
have to be fitted.
A picture/drawing/sketch of the hole positions would be most useful.
