David, Alf and GKers,

If you are just removing the 33 from the pedestal and  carrying it to new location you dont need any shipping screws.  Just lay it on the back seat or in trunk/boot flat.  Boot for you Alf.  LOL.

Its always best to pick a 33 from the back side whenever possible.  Sort of rest it on your belly or legs.

Here are some pics to help.  Also on the wiki site are instructions on putting the 33 back on the pedestal.  Just reverse those instructions when removing one.  It can be a one man job.  Its a disaster waiting to happen if someone is holding the front while you install or remove screws.  Basically you remove 3 screws and twist the 33 CW 45 degrees so it balances while you remove the last one.  Reverse to install the 33 to the pedestal.  A safety man in front is a good idea.

The shipping screws are 10/32, 1 inch long with a flat washer.  Sometimes you need 1 1/4 inch long.  You cant put the back ones in until you remove the 33 from pedestal.  One pic shows the front shipping screw installed looking from the top.

Its easy to damage the tape reader or keyboard so watch out for these.

I attached some of the info thats on the wiki site but still a good idea to check it out.
