Not that some bases have a screw-in ‘cartridge’ fuse  in the motor circuit – the typical classic house fuse – see if you have one in your machie and (power off, unplugged) remove it and see if it’s blown.

A few hardware stores still carry these, or perhaps Amazon, etc would have one.

Someone on Greenkeys can also help.

Keyboard: it seems as if your keyboard assembly is jammed – take it back out, and lubricate it – there are oil cups and felts. When the shaft and gear rotate freely, re-install it and try it again.

It might also help you to have the documentation for your machine – these are readily available from several sources.

Good luck – we’re standing by…

Dear All, I have kept my keyboard out as it has not been working, but I reconnected it and it caused the motor to turn extremely slowly, and as I was seeing if it would free up the motor made a sparking noise and died. Have I killed the motor

Dear All,

I have kept my keyboard out as it has not been working, but I reconnected it and it caused the motor to turn extremely slowly, and as I was seeing if it would free up the motor made a sparking noise and died. Have I killed the motor or is there some way to fix it??
