There is always the opportunity to build a demodulator.. OK the torroids would be hard to get but I remember building one using 567 tone decoders..  All on a perf board.. But that might be asking to much these days haha..  Skip

Go to rtty.com and look to the left under demodulators.

The ST-6 is a very good one.  Outside of ebay I do not know where to look for one as I doubt any new ones have been sold in 20 years.  The demodulator hooks to the speaker and the audio is filtered into 2 tones that switch loop supply of around 150 volts off and on for the printer.

Subject: [GreenKeys] Terminal Units

Good afternoon all,

I'm hoping to connect my Model 19 Teletype to a radio transceiver for use with RTTY. I've learned that I need a terminal unit to do this, but haven't found a ton of information about what terminal units to look for.

What can I look for to find a terminal unit? What can I search for? Is ebay my best bet for finding this sort of equipment?

Thank you for the help.

Aidan W9POG
