Duncan
is an Assistant Museum Curator, has been an active
member of AWA since 2005, for most of that time has
been a contributing member of the Museum Staff, and
brought us an unusual and much needed military
training background in Radio teletype communications.
Those skills were much needed by the AWA Museum and
Duncan’s personal interest in the subject has made him
a recognized expert in the field. Over the years, due
to his dedication and leadership, he has established
at the AWA Museum a recognized world class collection
of RRTY equipment and historical artifacts and shares
his knowledge other like-minded historians everywhere.
We are lucky to have Duncan Brown in our service and
his already demonstrated accomplishments are worthy of
this recognition.
Duncan
has received the 2023 AWA Vice President’s Award.
