I got it to keep it from the landfill & maybe harvest some bits & pieces before recycling what's unneeded. Let me know if you see anything that might be useful to you & we'll arrange a deal. You can see how much I have invested in this item (LOL).
I've not checked anything out beyond the following: It's a pulling magnet unit. The motor turns by hand but just barely (I may want to keep that, though). I may need to keep the dashpot. The sound deadening pads are mostly missing & the rest are going to trash. No glass. I need to clean & examine the gears to see if they're chewed up (presently there's so much dirty grease I cannot be sure).
