NIck and the group,

To give credit where credit is due - I got the idea for TRS jacks from Harold Hallikainen. Most of my patching is still TR jacks.

My four loops from the radio building terminate on an SB6-GG in the cellar where I work on my 14 and 15s. I have the four "set" jacks wired to a four jack TRS panel and I am using TRS plugs on all machines there but I can still do TR patching on the SB6-GG which very handy. The six jack TRS panel Brings down two loops from  my den/hamshack upstairs.. The loops start up there with a Dovetron  and my low tone Robot keyboard and are duplicated in the cellar.

I also have a test loop from the workbench so I can set up a TU under test and patch it into one of those two loops to burn it in for a few days. I also have tones available at the workbench.

In my one picture you can see the four TRS set jacks and the unlabeled six jack two loop box. The is also a three TRS jack box (not shown ) on a local loop supply down there. So I have every loop I need in the cellar to  work on Teletypes.

By the way - loop 1 is my news channel, Loop 2 is retype, loop 3 will be ttyart as soon as I get a third modem working and loop 4 is just a test loop for now but can be keyed by a relay.
