If I use them on our waterfalls at the ship, they'll likely be on 24/7. Keeping them cool and perhaps running on a small wall rat would be a plus. I didnt realize the incadescents were that cheap yet.

That’s a good deal.  I bought some on Amazon awhile back and the ones I bought were $10 each (I use mine in an old battle lantern)



Maybe I missed it but is there a reason you want to go LED?  It looks like you can get a box of 10 incandescent #82 bulbs for 10 bucks.
