Hi Bob, you said you had it for a long time. Did it ever work or you
acquired it way back when and this is the first hit on it? I guess I
should look up those military numbers, but the reference to a separate
number for a signal generator seemed kind of strange. Civilian versions
only have one reference number for the whole keyboard.
When you say there are 3 terminal strips in the back, are they numbered
1-30? That would indicate a fairly old cabinet. Yet the LP77 is a
relatively high number. Also LP77 would be for 7.0 code, which would
have a different gear to drive the keyboard than a 7.42 printer. My
recollection though is that a 7.0 printer won't sit down properly on a
7.42 keyboard/base. So you probably don't have that mismatch. (LK25
was the keyboard that came with my LP77)
But getting back to the signal generator thing, That's the first thing
that threw a red flag to me.
Anyhow take the above as being worth what you paid for it.
(this makes me go hmm, my LP77 and LK25 never had any MX number tags on
them. Strange?)
