Agreed,

Auto start is my usual flavor of choice because I learn from the conversation on this group  as it rolls up. Better than email!  I am here for the jokes, ascii art, and “this day in history”.  I use the last two of these for an icebreaker at work - sometimes i am on Webex when this comes through, my staff asks to wait for the article to finish and the paper-tear - helps me be an ambassador of the craft…  People need to see this stuff working - and its relevance to the standards used in device they have in front of them.

If I’m on the constant feed to show off the machine or test and I don’t want the present article, i shut the motor off until i hear the magnets clicking out the carriage returns and diddle… Then, motor on and see if i want to read the next, I think i could have been more clear on that before when i responded.

I did initially respond to the call about article sources and perhaps broadening (not necessarily changing or limiting) the content by adding mainstream - but I don’t know the work that goes into that, so what I can have, I will gladly take and use my own discretion.

I want to echo Nick's sentiment that "Personally - I don't really care what the text is as long as it has all the letters A to Z."

Additionally, I'd like to add to his list of potential sources:

NASA RSS Feeds: https://www.nasa.gov/rss-feeds/

BBC News RSS Feeds: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/10628494 ("World" in particular is typically quite nonpartisan)

I hope to see ITTY continue to run.

Paul and Tom  - please keep ITTY running. It is an international resource!

If folks don't like Wayne's articles, just ignore them. I'd certainly never want to see ITTY turn into a battle of left vs right political articles.

If someone else knows how to automagically turn text into submitted ITTY articles, then go for it -
Here are some possible sources -
