Probably just an iTTY or something Telex-like, if anything. I have yet to dabble into ham radio apart (although I spin records among other things on an FM-band college radio show…which is my closest association with the medium).

I’ll start with the small voltage tests before hauling in the heavy artillery, as per other fellow folks.

Are you setting this up to be a RTTY station? If so, if you are going to be sourcing a demodulator, why not get one with a built-in loop supply, e.g. a HAL ST-6000.
