It looks like the transistorized controller was introduced at the same time. I presume that Nick was quoting from there :->. And there were several ypes of cover over the punch itself 1 - with window, without notch for tape-feed lever -- very early models 1 - with window and notch -- early models 2 - without window -- late models I don't think they made any model number changes for the with and without window covers, and I'm not clear on BRPEs made without a tape feed lever, but I see in the parts list or manuals that these options existed.
