I have been having trouble with the TAB function on my Friden Flexowriter SFD-V. The TAB key will cause the carriage to advance, but then will cause the Lever Key Lock to engage, locking up the keyboard. My trouble shooting effort is being hindered, since I do not have a schematic for this particular machine. I have looked through all the bitsaver documents and I do have a Flexowriter SPD schematic from 1961. But all these things are not the same as my machine. My Friden serial number is in the 47000's and I believe that, that makes my machine middle 1960's. Most of the bitsaver documents are for earlier machines. Although these documents and prints give me hint's at what is going on, nearly always my wiring and relays are different from these drawings.
I'm looking for an electrical schematic for the Flexowriter SFD-V and/or any documentation for this machine. Thanks for the help.
