I was using Atlassian Confluence to serve teletype.net. Really heavy software, yes, but hard to beat for building beautiful, easy to read, technical wiki pages, and cheap licensing. Anyway, they have discontinued their DIY server licensing and will only allow you to run on their cloud going forward, which I have no intention of doing, so that's what I get for not going FOSS. I have not had time to migrate to something else since then.
That said, gksearch runs separately and can still be accessed directly at
https://gksearch.teletype.net. I've just now updated server configs to redirect
https://teletype.net/gksearch there, too, so you can still use the old links and bookmarks, and now the error message displayed on all other pages is more useful and maybe even a little fun.
Eventually I'll get around to migrating teletype.net to some FOSS wiki software and repopulate there, maybe one day fulfilling my plans of fleshing out the site with a lot of useful information. Until then, this'll have to do.
