It took me a few days, but I’ve built a model of the front parts of the tape reader. The first couple of prints weren’t ideal, but I’ve tweaked it and if you find a decent resin printer with clear resin, it should be possible to print it. Unfortunately I don’t have access to the printer right now so I can’t print it again to test. Here’s the model of the parts …

The clear plastic block on a 32/33 tape reader will be a bear to duplicate in 3D.

Subject: [GreenKeys] ASR-33 disaster! Crushed paper tape reader
Greetings all,
I had a holiday disaster today - when looking for an item in my work area, I accidentally crushed the corner of my ASR-33. The cover was off so it's totally intact, but I broke the plastic frame for the reader sense wires, the engagement lever, and possibly one of the springs.
I'm writing in case anyone happens to have spare parts/spare unit, even a partial or broken unit as long as I can get the plastic parts I'm looking for. I may try to glue things up, but I'm not totally confident it will be sturdy enough to run.
Thanks!
