That's good to know. In my case I need the entire cover but I am lucky as I'll get one soon, and with its clear buttons :)

Tape punch covers are very hard to find.  It would be nice to have some 3D printed along with the clear buttons.

I am restoring a Model 33 right now. Although this is not a super high priority and the machine will (eventually) work without that, it is missing its tape punch cover (with the 4 translucent buttons). Of the 3 machines in various conditions I put my hands on, none had this cover, so I assume it's a common issue.

I am curious to know if anyone ever made a replacement for this part (3D-printed?), or might have one available?
