I went to Fair Radio on Friday and acquired a model 28 desktop. It has been sitting in the outbuilding for a while and is mostly dirty. The typing unit still smells like machine oil and turns freely.

The copy glass is cracked and the  plastic plates on either side of the keyboard  could use replacing.

It is also missing  two of the red  hold covers.  Came with original power supply and also has polar relay.

Remnants of the last QSO is still in the carriage - something about an old snow blower etc.
