You have the schematics? What circuits does that fuse serve? Trace the "downstream" wiring & see where there's continuity where it shouldn't be.

Evening GK folks - I was doing a bit of printing this morning from iTelex, and after a few minutes it powered down on its own, followed by a mild plasticky burning smell. The fuse (labelled with green arrow) was blown.  It's a Littelfuse 313 AG 3A 250V.  I ordered some replacements on the ebays. But just for fun I tried a 3A fast blow fuse, which popped immediately upon power up. I then got super brave and tried a 4A fast fuse... which also did a feeble flash and then died. Not brave enough to try a 5A 🙄😀

Any idea on what's upsetting this fuse?  I also ordered some spare 3/8A fuses (the right hand fuse) as this *looked* blown (seemed kinda cloudy) but actually did not blow.  Maybe it's on its way out?

Motor turns freely by hand, if that has any bearing on things.

Anyway... your thoughts appreciated as ever! 😃
cheers....Andy
