Almost all variations of model 28, but we have a 15 in Faccon for testing purposes (you see it in the video)and I think another 1 or 2 15s elsewhere.

The ones Ive been working on are a ugc-48a (aka a 28 ASR) and a 28 "compact" aka (per Nick) a UGC-77.

Im mostly working on the wiring and electrical side (including the stuff in that room), although now Im piecing the keyboard together. Theres another tech who was a former Navy tty tech refreshing the print mechanism for us.

What model teletypes are on the New Jersey. I would guess M-28's in keeping with her period of last commision (?)

It wasnt for lack of trying! I musta called CQ 900 times that weekend. Sometimes we had a pileup but by 4pm Sunday it was dead. I heard another ship on 40 and parked 3mhz up and still couldnt nab anyone.

Bands were really hit or miss with fading. We mostly worked 20 and 40. I was really hoping to get some real RTTY action going but just havent completed all the projects yet.

I managed to contact ten ships last weekend but unfortunately the New Jersey was not one of them.

The whole channel is great if you aren’t aware of it.
