If I recall correctly, The 11/16 tape is 5 bucks a roll and he does have paper rolls for $10 each.
Of course plus shipping.

FWIW, for those on the West coast and environs, Mr RTTY has 11/16" paper tape for a reasonable price. Shipping is the killer for the East coast..
