Hi everyone. I received a spare set of parts for my model 14 (thanks Jim!) and I recognize everything but the component in the attached picture.

It has 3 magnets, and runs to an expanded terminal block with a beautiful plug interface (parts are labelled as part of a pluggable system).

Is this an option of some sort for paper handling perhaps?
